I have been trying to reach customer support since this morning without success. I am interested in purchasing the Dyson Airwrap id multi-styler, but I noticed on the Italian website that its voltage is listed as 120V, while Italy's standard voltage is 220V. Does this mean it won't work in Italy?

Additionally, if I travel to Asia, which also uses 220V, will the Dyson function properly if it's indeed 120V?

I'm confused about this discrepancy. Could someone please clarify why a 120V device is being sold in a 220V region?
